Once-A-Day Aricept® (donepezil HCl)

Studies showed ARICEPT
slowed the progression of
Alzheimer's symptoms.
It improved cognition and
slowed the decline of
overall function.

ARICEPT may work
differently for each
person. For those who
respond, symptoms may
improve, they may

Health Insurance & ARICEPT

Get help paying for ARICEPT treatment.

You may worry about how to pay for treatment. Many health insurance plans have a prescription drug benefit. ARICEPT is covered by insurance for more than 95% of patients overall and nearly 99% of Medicare patients. Call your loved one's health insurance provider for details.

Medicare and Medicare Part D

Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people age 65 and older and for people who are disabled. Medicare also provides prescription drug coverage. This coverage is known as Medicare Part D. It's generally open to everyone on Medicare. If you or your loved one qualifies for Medicare, eligibility may be met. This is the case even if they have been receiving drug coverage through Medicaid.

Medicaid

Medicaid is a program that pays for medical care for some people and families with low incomes. Prescription drug coverage through Medicaid has changed. Many people age 65 and older in lower income brackets will now get their coverage through Medicare Part D.

ARICEPT Patient Assistance Program

The ARICEPT Patient Assistance Program can help qualified indigent and uninsured patients obtain ARICEPT at no cost. Assistance is also available to Medicare Part D-insured patients who are in the coverage gap or donut hole.
